Texas LTC Legal Reciprocity

The Texas Concealed Handgun License (License to Carry) reciprocity agreement is formed when the governors of two states agree to accept each others License to Carry licenses. The states would recognize the status from either of the residents.

A unilateral agreement means that Teas honors that states license but that state does not recognize the Texas CHL license.

Note: Not all states accept the Texas LTC, it is the licensee's responsibility to ensure that when traveling they are familiar with all state laws before entering that state. This site is the only trusted site on the internet when providing details of reciprocity/unilateral status as www.licnesecarry.com only endorses information from a trustworthy site, such as TXDPS Licensing bureau.
